Elder Services 9th Annual Family Caregiver Conference will be held May 27th, 2010, 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m at the Red Lion at the Park Hotel, West 303 North River Drive Spokane WA. Click HERE for a map. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
This event is free of charge to unpaid caregivers. Cost for paid caregivers and students is $25.00. Professionals are charged $35 to attend. All attendees will be served a plated lunch.

The theme of this year’s conference is “It Takes A Village.” Topics include “Aging Readiness”, “Stroke”, “Male Caregivers”, “Caregiving Tips”, and “Alzheimer’s Disease”.
This event is hosted by the Elder Services Family Caregiver Support Program which provides relief for families or other unpaid caregivers of adults 18 years of age and over with functional and developmental disabilities by providing information, education and assistance in gaining access to services. The Family Caregiver Support Program also provides a flexible range of options that assist unpaid caregivers in their role by enhancing their ability to care for their loved ones.
