Caregiver Connections
In Spokane the Caregiver Support Group meets each 4th Wednesday from 2-3:30 at the PRC – 910 W 5th Ave., Suite 256. Join in the conversation and get helpful tips and advice from others in the same situation.

Elder Services 9th Annual Family Caregiver Conference will be held May 27th, 2010, 8:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m at the Red Lion at the Park Hotel, West 303 North River Drive Spokane WA. Click HERE for a map. Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
This event is free of charge to unpaid caregivers. Cost for paid caregivers and students is $25.00. Professionals are charged $35 to attend. All attendees will be served a plated lunch.
NOTE: Preregistration by May 25th is required! For questions, or to pre-register call (509) 458-7450.
The theme of this year’s conference is “It Takes A Village.” Topics include “Aging Readiness”, “Stroke”, “Male Caregivers”, “Caregiving Tips”, and “Alzheimer’s Disease”.
This event is hosted by the Elder Services Family Caregiver Support Program which provides relief for families or other unpaid caregivers of adults 18 years of age and over with functional and developmental disabilities by providing information, education and assistance in gaining access to services. The Family Caregiver Support Program also provides a flexible range of options that assist unpaid caregivers in their role by enhancing their ability to care for their loved ones.
