We have two support groups for Caregivers, they are closed groups but I believe after the new year there will be space to join and we have several people working to create new support groups for caregivers. I will forward your email to Mr. Riley. Your second post on the 13th, about petroleum products or chemicals being a connection with PD. Research is being done on the causes and that is just one area that is being studied. You might want to look at the http://www.michaeljfox.org website…their foundation is based on research to cure PD and how to prevent people from getting the disease. There is also a Dr. Leverenz at University of Washington that is in researcha and I believe he is the medical advisor for the Washington Chapter of the APDA (American Parkinson’s Disease Association). If I have not already put those websites under our links section on our website, i will be adding them and hope those will be helpful to you.

Noticeable onset in 2006.
It is difficult dealing woth PD when your used to being so active. Ran my first marathon at age 38…
