What happened to May — and April?
April was PD awareness month. We received official proclamations from both the mayor and the governor. We sold cookies on the 12th. We held the 3rd annual Carnival of Wellness on the 24th. We also added about 30 new people to our newsletter mailing list thanks to raised awareness.
May came and went too soon. One highlight was a presentation by the occupational therapy graduate students from Eastern Washington University covering their research into our Dance for Parkinson’s program. Hint: Dance for Parkinson’s helps on several levels!
And now it’s June. The WWPD group meets on Thursday, the PD group meets next Wednesday, TeleHealth is on the 14th, and Caregivers meet on the 23rd. Toss in meetings of the Tremble Clefs and the Dystonia Support Group, plus a Board of Directors meeting and we’ve got another full month ahead.
Who can even think about July yet?
