The Resource, quarterly newsletter
The bimonthly newsletter of the PRC provides solid information in Cougar Rx Corner, a column written by fourth-year Washington State University Pharm.D. students, plus tips for thriving with PD, news, events, and breakthroughs. An online version is also available for download on the PRC website.
Parkinson’s Telehealth Educational Group
Meets the 2nd Monday of each month at St Luke’s Rehab, 711 S Cowley St., Spokane, WA
This is an educational meeting where patients meet and listen to professionals such as physicians, pharmacists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, psychotherapists, and others with knowledge about Parkinson’s disease. A question and answer session follows each meeting which reaches out to 22 other cities via satellite.

Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Although it is often rewarding, being a caregiver can also be physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. During this six-week course, Darell Cain (509) 466-1079) teaches self care in order to ease some of the stresses and strains of caregiving, ultimately leading to enhanced care for their person with Parkinson’s.
